Re:      Federal Communications Commission Wireless Broadband Forum

Dear Mr. Kunze:

As you know, the FCC will be hosting a Wireless Broadband Forum at Commission headquarters at 445 12th Street, SW, in Washington, D.C. on May 19, 2004.

The purpose of the Forum is to examine the technological, economic, and regulatory factors that influence the deployment of wireless broadband services.  The Forum will provide an opportunity for wireless broadband business, technology, and regulatory experts to share their knowledge, experiences, and views on the future of the industry.

Following up on the contact you have had with Commission staff regarding participation at the Forum, I would like to personally invite you to speak on the Barriers to Entry in the Broadband Market panel at the May 19th Forum.  My colleagues and I value your insights into the role wireless technology will play in the broadband revolution, and we look forward to learning more from you.

To confirm your attendance and obtain additional information regarding the Forum, please contact Chelsea Fallon in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau at (number ommitted) or via email.  Chelsea or other Commission staff will be in touch with you again shortly regarding the specifics of your presentation.

Sincerely,
Michael K. Powell,
Chairman, FCC
